Wind, rain, sleet, snow, hail, ice, freezing and boiling temperatures, road debris, all vehicles on an open transport truck are susceptible to those and more.
Basically, it’s subjected to the same rigors of the road as it would be if you drove it on the same route, just without all the mechanical wear and tear on your engine. Open transport is best suited to customers who are shipping their daily driving vehicles – what they take to work every day, and haul the kids around in, that sort of thing.
