Cutting Down Your Moving Day Costs
A household move is expensive. Whether you’re moving across town or across state or across country, it’s going to be expensive to hire a team of movers to actually move your things, and the more you have, the more expensive it’ll likely be. You’ll want to make sure that you mention any additions or subtractions to what you’re moving, though, if you’ve already started working with a moving company prior to a garage sale or any donations, as it will affect the price you pay – even with a binding estimate. That’s why it’s recommended that you start clearing your stuff out and getting rid of things you don’t want prior to contacting your moving companies.
